Hi everyone,

I new here, of course :D !

And after reading a few thread i felt like this could be THE site that could help me out.

I have a dvd of home videos here that was handed to me. I was asked if i could take bits and peices of it 1-2min shorts from this dvd and make a page on my cousin's site where he could stream these 'a la youtube' you know with a lil play / pause button at the bottom and not need to download this huge plugin.

Well after scouring the internet. I found that i needed flv or swf files (flash videos)

I was wondering if there was a straight forward and free (because im really gonna do this once) way of cutting out those lil' video shorts from the dvd and make swf files?

Please help?
