Just a quick question here. Do you have to restore iXtreme to the orig.bin to install the updated one. Im like 99% sure you do beacuse you need the orig.bin to make the files but I thought id ask anyways to be 100%

well dont you have the orig.bin on your computer anyways, so why would you have to restore it to original FW to get the original FW to make the hacked FW??? but i think you still have to use the 0800 disc to update it though.

p.s. i should BURN you so bad in this comment, but im to nice to do that...haha

Na its a customor of mine. They have a benq with iXtreme 1.4 they wana update to 1.41. And they dont have there orig.bin. No way to do it right. Just checking to make sure im not over looking anything

well if its a customers of yours, then why dont you have their orig.bin in your possession somewhere?? i mean thats what a good sales/mod person would do....lol...

With the Samsung or Benq, you don't have to restore it before you reflash it. You can just flash right over the old firmware. You do still have to patch the new firmware with the key, of course.

Wabashman lets not start a war here ok lol. Its a customer who has come to me with an already modded xbox 360 and they wish to upgrade to iXtreme 1.41 I have none of there files neither the hacked or the orig.bin beacuse I didnt do thier system. But im 99% sure I cant update over it if I just read the hacked firmwear and use that to make another. Im sounding like a noob for a reason lol i just wana try any possible way to help this person out. If you know what I mean $$$$
