PS2: USB hard - choppy video and how to connect IDE hard

hello, I've installed exploit on my mem. card and succeeded to run game from my USB hard drive. But videos are choppy and I don't know why. I don't think that cause is speed because reading from USB hard is faster than reading from DVDs ... And how can I connect IDE hard drive to my PS 2 ? thanks :)

no, using the disc is faster, because the usb is usb1.1; too slow for smooth playback.

using a IDE hdd is highly recommended for fat ps2. you will need the network adapter to connect the hdd to the ps2.
