Why is my PSP making a whirling noise?

Well, I opened my PSP and needed to do replace button pads, in the process, somehow, my ABXY board got broken (the little tiny part that goes into the power switch opening). I bought one from Ebay and snapped it in, it fits perfectly. My PSP isn't turning on at all, but when I plug in my PSP charger a slight noise comes, very quiet and continues as the same exact thing. It is so quiet that I have to put my ear next to my PSP. Please tell me the possible things that are wrong and how I could solve them. I just found out that I am missing a screw and that it may be stuck inside behind the screen, I do hear a rattling noise.
