Hi, I have a psp with a 3.90m33-2 firmware but I can't load anything (Isos Homebrew or whatever) Yes I checked on the system settings and it says 3.90m33-2. Well here is the thing I tried to make a pandora battery but the program gives me the error 80020148. Ok no luck so i tried the normal recovery and it gives me the error 8002013C so iam stuck I don't know what to do now. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.
Juz try this :)
Enter the recovery mode of your PSP :)
Originally posted by acidy: To access recovery mode follow the following steps :-
1. Completely shut down your PSP (Not stand-by)
2. Hold the "R" button (i.e right trigger) while starting your PSP ^_^
3. You are now on recovery mode
It should look something like THIS
Then, go to "Configuration" and then in "UMD mode" switch to "Sony np9660" :)
And then go back and the go to "Advanced -> Advanced Configuration" and "Disable" everything there :)
Well, if the above procedure makes your .isos work then no need for downgrading with pandora :)
And I'm assuming that the homebrews run on 1.50 kernel :)
Get the 1.50 kernel add-on for 3.90m33-2 from HERE :)
But it is ONLY for the PSP classic and not the PSP slim >_<
Also, the homebrews that work on 3.xx kernel should go to the "ms0:\PSP\GAME380" folder [No !!! It's NOT the "GAME390" folder, it's "GAME380" even for the firmware version 3.90m33-2]
And the homebrews that work on 1.50 kernel should go to the "ms0:\PSP\GAME150" folder :)
Also, to run the "pandora battery creator" software you need the 1.50 kernel :) [Although there is a pandora battery creator for 3.xx kernel too]
