I have a Phat PSP w/ Custom Firmware Of 3.90 M33-2 and a 4GB Memory Stick. When I put ISO/CSO Games on it, it won't work. I've just know that i have a fake memory stick. My Memory stick didm't read the games. What should i do? i've heard that converting 4GB to FAT16 will work, is it true? Can you fix a fake memory stick?

no you can't really fix a fake memory stick because its the way they are made not how they are formatted.

to check if you do have a fake memory stick click the triangle button when your on the memory stick icon and then go to information. if it says "magic gate supported: unknown" then its a fake.

try formatting the card on the psp and then try different types of files like pictures, music, videos and all that lot if they show up then it could be that you have bad isos/csos. the other thing that you could try is putting the fatmsmod on if you havnt already (it can be found at dark alexs web site)

its just a bit of luck with fake memory sticks i have a fake sony 4gb and touch wood never had a problem and the read/write speed is fine the only problem is that its sorta falling apart but so was my genuine 1gb sandisk stick 0_<
