Hi,
This is my 1st post.
I thank You all for being there.

Before I get things down to actually doing anything I would appreciate a suggestion as to this problem.
OS is Windows XP Pro SP1

Some time ago I D/L Ace Mega Codecs Pro 5.93.8971.
Since then I think most is screwed up. The Ace's installer keeps popping up randomly and these days, while testing DVD-software (WinDVD, PowerDVD etcetera) I actually was unable to play any disc at all for some frustrating hours.
I hav unisnstalled, reinstalled, reinstalled with ALL options unchecked and more...
Finally I can play the discs. But, with all these installations of different software (WinDVD, PowerDVD, DiVX 5.x.x, DVD-to-AVI, DVD2AVI, 1stDVDRipper, 1ClickDVDRipper, DVDX, and more!)
I really do not know where I stand.
I get exception errors using EasyDivX 0.82, and I suspect my codecs are messed up bad.

Is there any way to check/fix this?
Any help or suggestion is GREATLY appreciated.
