I have bought a PSP Slim yesterday, which has firmware 2.72

I have ordered a Datel Tool wich should arrive next week, but I've been doing some research allready.

First of all, I have no idea which CF I should upgrade/downgrade to.

I see all these guides, but the firmware numbers mean nothing to me. I have no idea what kernel add-ons are, but it seems they are needed.

Could someone please tell me what I need to to? Narrow my search a little bit.

Your help is very much appreciated!

ok ill make it simple (2.72 on slim just to make sure i presume you meant 3.72 0_< )

1) datel tool battery one you get it you will need a magic memory stick.
to make this follow the guide
GUIDE: Universal Unbricker V3 Using Official Firmware FAT/SLIM PSP.
that will explain how to make it 0_<

2) cfw is simple once you have made the pandoras battery for the slim
you will need to install 3.71m33(i think it is on the guide) and then
you will have cfw end of 0_< simple

3) if you have a slim you wont need to worry about the
1.50 kernel addon because it is for the phat psp only 0_<

As far as CFW (custom firmware) goes, I think any would do but obviously the later versions work a little better. I'm using 3.80 M33-5 and I've ran across 0 problems. =)
