Ok, I was wondering if there is any way for me to password-protect certain games on my psp and if so, what do I do? I share my PSP with my little 8 year old brother and want to put an iso of God of war on my magicgate but don't want my brother playing that game. He can play any of the other games. Anybody know if it is possible to just password-project a certain game? Or at least lock the game so he can't access it or something when I am not playing? Thanks and hopefully there is a way to do it!!
You can :)
First, go to "Settings > Security settings" of your PSP, then, go to the option "Parental Control level" and choose the Patental "Level" that the game does not run on :)
To get to know about the Patental "Level", go to the .iso game and then press "Triangle" and then go to "Information" and you'll get to know the Patental "Level" of your game :)
But mostly, .iso games are in "Level 1", so you cannot lock the game >_<
Even though, juz try it :)
btw if you have never used the password lock feature of the PSP, then the default password is 0,0,0,0 :)
Juz see if this works >_<
Well, but this method will surely work for UMD games though :)
EDIT : After some research, I've found a homebrew softmware "Hide Files v1" that can hide files :)
You can use this to hide your files :)
I've not tested it on my PSP, but juz give it a try :)
