Hello, my friend ripped a dvd to vcd and made it into two bin files. I was wondering if there is a way to combine them and burn them to a DVD-R.

Well Yes sort of...You will have to use a Program Like "ISO Buster" to Extract the Mpeg1/VCD files out of the Bin files, then you would have to use a Mpeg editor like the One that comes with TMPGEnc to Join the 2 Files together and then you would need to Demux the audio and Video from the Mpeg1/VCD file and resample it to 48000hz which you can do with TMPGEnc also and then after resampleing the audio to 48000hz you would need a DVD authoring program to add menu"s and Chapters and then author the Files to DVD-R, which you can do with a Different Program Like "Tmpgenc DVD author"...Cheers

Ok I'm stuck I just resampled the audio file to 48000Hz. Now Would the Program called Sonic MyDVD work for authoring or is there another program that is easier? Also do i rejoin the audio and video file?

Well I suppose MyDVD would work if you muxed the audio and Video back together, I"m not sure if MyDVD supports the Sif DVD Standard which is what VCD on DVD is..Go ahead and try it but if it doesn"t accept the file as a DVD Compliant file or if it try"s to re-encode the File then don"t use it and try something like "Tmpgenc DVD author" which I know for a Fact will accept This Type of File for DVD and with it you would not need to Mux the audio and Video back together...Cheers
