Hi. I would like to know if there is anyway i can get my a.r max evo cd working on my v12 slim ps2 (SCPH-70003b). It is an original copy and my ps2 has no mods. i think it could be the laser as it is old, but it reads other cd-based media. if i do need a new laser please post a link to a cheap laser. the error message is "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc".. Sorry if this has already been asked. Any help would be much appreciated

I had similar problem with ar max evo, but mine said disc read error and mine ps2 is fat v9.Iv opened up ps2 and cleaned ps2 laser and adjusted lens.

Hi. Thanks for the links and stuff. My lens is clean. Also, I have a big ps2, but during modding the lens cable snapped :( The lens on my big ps2 was covered in dust, but it still worked 100% until the stupid cable snapped!!!
