I had used upms installer many times in our psp slims from 3.60 ofw to 3.71.

Can I use this upms in upgrading 3.40 oe to 3.71 m33? how do i do it?

You can use it for upgrading your PSP from 3.40 OE-A :)
Do it the same way you did it for the PSP slim :)
