Can t load yellow dog linux

After reading and following Run Yellow Dog Linux (YDL) on PS3 Tutorial steps when i get to this point screen just goes blank
Installing Yellow Dog Linux
1. Power on your PS3.
2. Insert the Yellow Dog Linux DVD you created, into the PS3.
3. The bootloader "kboot" is displayed on-screen (at this point if you are connected to an HDTV just wait 10 seconds, and it will automatically install! For you others, bear with me!!!)!
4. Enter Anaconda (the Yellow Dog Linux installer) and move forward with the installation of Linux, as guided on-screen!

basically i downloaded (ydl) from torrents and burned it using magic iso loaded it loads up the start and the after it get to kboot it goes blank?
nothing loads up for sum reasson? any help i load the dvd and it boots then it just goes blank and nothing happens for hour's?

hope this makes sense what i am tlking about
