First thing: Sorry if this is a rehash (I'd imagine that it is). I do not see a search function here either or I would've tried that first.

What are everyone's opinions on the best chip? I can solder so I have no problems with that. I've been reading a bit about the x3 chip too. Should I just get an xecutor 2.2 lite/pro? Or is the x3 worth waiting for?
I just ordered a Maxtor 250 gig hd, so I'm getting a bit antsy, but waiting is sometimes the best option.
What is everyone's opinion?

I've used x2.2 will be hard to get though x2.3lite is out it will do the trick do some research on the flash I read a lot of problems I have a 2.3 got my 4979 bios on it with a hot swap (not an op for your first box) use 4979.06 for a large f partition or 4979.67 for f and g drive use latest evox as for the x3 I'm sure there will some problems the chips arent getting easier to instal.
