i have the source code for the homebrew application file assistant
the code is for psp 1.0/1.5 but i have a psp slim 3.80m33-5 is there anyway i could change the source code to make file assistant run on my psp.

one more thing:i can run the file assistantv0.04 on my psp(it works flawlessly) and even file assistantv1.2(eloader) but file assistantv1.2 freezes when i copy big(not small) files through it.

please help me

sorry if you think this is a bit insulting lol but have you ever used c++ before or any other programming language 0_<

because in order to change the source code you need to open it with the Unix program Cygwin and you need PSP Toolchain as well and that take ages to install 0_<


i was going to try coding out my self but apparently it take about a day to install so i didn't bover 0_<

as for the assistantv1.2 try filer4.7 that works well and you can also copy to ram change the memory stick and copy it to a new memory stick but i havnt tried that 0_<

lol Dr1ver is absolutly right. i installed Cywgin and the Toolchain myself and it took about 3 hours (and used countless megabytes of downloads) and the coding is kinda hard cos ive barely coded C++ in my life. so my advice for coding is: try really reallly really hard or dont try it :=)

im learning vb which is soooo easy but you can only code for windows. but i am thinking about carrying it on to university and studding c++ or c# also next year i go to japan 0_<

lol i've wanted to learn visual basic for a while now but have never had the time. anyway we better stop going off topic or the mods will come after us with pitchforks and flaming torches :=)
