Failed to work on DVD Player DVD-R

Finally got a new (:D) to burn, hooked up an .avi file burnt it on the disc (DVD-R) put it in my DVD player and.. "Disc Error" hm. Read the locked FAQ's telling me to change the DVD brand.. did so, still the same old error.

keep you burn speed at 8x max using Verbatim and or Taiyo Yuden. try using dvd flick and convert it to a ISO file
