HDLoader3.8c How play/install backups?

Ok. I'm new to the whole PS2 deal, and I'm one of the guys who bought HDLoader 3.8c rather than building it myself....(I should have spent some time here first.) But anyway,
How can I (or can I) use my HDLoader cd and Memory card to play and or install game backups?

I realize I can probably install game backups by either ftp'ing or moving my HD to my PC and use Winhip....but is there a way to
1. play backups with the HDloader hardware and software I have?
2. install backups to my HD

Whenever I try to install a backup to my HD is says invalid PS2 disc.
Do I need to install more software onto my MC? If so, how do I do that?

I am not sure if the hdloader disk works the same as the HdAdvanced disk, but you could check this tutorial on how to copy backups to your hdd using the hdloader disk.

Read the the section called : Converting your own legal *Backup Disc/Import Game Disc

I personally just use WinHiip 1.7.6 as its way faster to transfer my backups to hdd.

Here is another tutorial on how to install hdloader.elf to your memory card.
