3.90 cant play music

Hi guys i have just upgraded to 3.90 m33-2. I cant seem to get the psp to recognise any music i put on. Thanks in advance

are they mp3 and are u putting them into the music folder?

Yes they are mp3 i used to play them on 3.40oe

is it fat32 or not also did you put them in the music folder in the root of your mem stick or the music folder in psp
e.g
X:\psp\music\musichere.mp3
X:\music\musichere.mp3

where x is the psp drive

Ive just tried photos & videos none of these work the mc cant seem to see anything apart from games. I have original sandisk cards & i have formatted them to fat. is this a common problem for 3.90 or have i done something wrong??

format it to FAT32 on the PC and then format it again on the psp see if that fixes the problem.

have you tried the pictures and mp3 files on your pc and do they work fine?

another thing to check is to see if it is a fake or not to do this go to
the memory stick icon on the psp and press triangle and then go to information if it says "magic gate supported: unknown" then its a fake and that might be the problem.

last thing have you tried any other memory sticks to see if they work at all?
