This is the first time i ever posted on a forum before so i hope i posted my question in the right category. I just got my computer a month ago and i have decrypter installed and dvdfab. The newest versions im using. I cant get Weeds - Tv Series to decrypt. Season 1, Disk 1 + 2 works and Disk 1 on Season 2 is complete, but Season 2 , Disk 2 is giving me a problem. It stops right in the middle. It gets stuck right at VTS_06_1.VOB. Everything before and after it is decrypted. Can someone help me =)? I been trying to research it and retried numberous of times.. thanks..

did you try to clean the disk? maybe it's a pad press (store bought DVDs are not burned.. they are pressed, and sometimes you can get a bad press) where it won't be able to rip/read the DVD. You might have to get another copy of the DVD and retry!

DVDDecrypter is old now and hasn't been updated in years! if you are going to rip a DVD to the hard drive then use a ripper that is updated frequently: DVDFab HD Decrypter! it's free and you can find it here:
http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
If DVDFab Platinum is having a hard time with the disk then DVDFab HD Decrypter might have a hard time of it, too!
Try cleaning the disk with a mild cleanser (something that won't leave a residue) and wipe using a micro fiber cloth (or lint free cloth) and wipe from the inner circle to the outer edge in a straight line! Clean the whole DVD this way and see if this helps with the ripping. Good luck. Welcome to AfterDawn!

I agree with IHoe that it's probably the disks. I've done both seasons with decrypter alone.

club42 mentioned that DVDDecrypter did this one without problems. You shouldn't have encountered any problem. Try this:

If this doesn't help..... go back to the store and get another copy of the DVD as there is a problem with the one you have! good luck.

I did the suggestions , it seemed to me that in iso it was very sensitive even more so then in file mode and got stuck at an earlier file. I guess i will have to take the dvd back and see about an exchange. Thanks for the help, i just dont like having a list of things to do that arent complete =) oh well thats life.

Try this program. Use SCAN DISC feature to test the DVD in question.

For test burns, use DVD+RW's.
