USB CogSwap Boot Format PLZ!

Ok, I have a PS2 Slim and I have cogswap.elf file and everything ready but i am just wondering what format does my Dell 64MB Memory Key Pen Drive need to be in? Can i just format it to FAT32? what format and is there anything i need to do to be able to read the pen drive?

What do you mean FAT, is this a program, or do you mean use a fat ps2 because i only have a ps2 slim.

I mean the format FAT. You know like FAT, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS.
