I Can't Unbrick My PSP !!! Need Help !!!

My psp is totally blank. When i turn it on, the only thing that lights up is the green power light and stays lit for 10 seconds then turns off. again, the screen is blank as if it were turned off. i tried to use a guide here that made no sense in unbricking a psp. for example, it says at some point that i need to go into the psp's system settings. now, how in the hell is that possible when the psp is bricked in the first place??!!!

anyway, i hope you fellas can give me some REAL help in unbricking my psp. and just to let you know, i dont have a spare battery. all i got is my psp, battery it came with, and 2 gb memory stick.

i really need your help big time... thanks !!!
