Hi i I just don't know about this program fairuse wizard most of the time it works fine but other times it cut the duration down of the movie i have some pics i can show but I dont know how to post them to the formum
ya xvid takes out all the menus and I was useing dvd shrink to show the duration vs xvid only see's the movie as 10 mins long? I tryed that app you linked it seems like It would work it see's the duration of the movie
I tryed useing that program but it crashed so I will have to look at it latter i
I mean I used the pics to show fairuse wizard vs dvd shrink, dvd shrink and autoGK see the hole move. but fair use wizard will only see's a 10 min chain and the chain should show up as 1:43:09 mins but shows up as 10:49 mins. I have tested the ISO and burned it on to a dvd-r and it shows the hole movie the iso is not bad. I have done about 7 of the movies I own with fair use wizard. Five of the movies have come out great but this movie and a different one I own come out this way I just thanking is a bug in fair use wizard this is upsetting because I have spend hours on ending trying to fix this I have used about 5 different programs now including Handbrake, Div X Converter, fair use wizard, autoGK, and some other one I cant remember The best one so far is Div X Converter hands down followed by fairuse, but ever one has problems Div X converter only half way works with my system because I'm running windows xp 64. and the Plugin that comes with Div X converter dose not work with a 64 bit os! One would thanking seeing how 64 bit os has been out for years now bugs would have been fixed but thats a different post. Handbrake just converts the file and will not play or converts with not sound.
Sorry for spaming up the forums is my os the problems should I duel boot a 32 bit os just for converting to divix?
maybe dual booting may be the way forward, does seem wierd that 5 out of 7 work with same tools used...
64bit has been around awhile but even now there still sorting bug etc...
but, i would look into these dvds your ripping it may be down to audio type? and possibly a codec? look at the 5 good dvds in shrink see if audio had DTS in aswell and the others dont? or they have other foriegn audio and the others dont, try to look closely into a difference between 5 good all the same dvds and 2 that wont work...
as the apps work 99% so i'm leaning towards the initial file/dvd setup may differ? like some factor thats different on the 2 no go dvds if you follow me...
check your avi output with gspot on all 7 avi see if they all seem the same or there is some difference? maybe the compression factor is an issue the bad 2 were huge? size of audio bigger on bad 2?
----------------
also go another root go dvd to mpeg2 maybe then mpeg to avi?
