I have a old xbox. I know that the 360 has the backwards compatible thing. However, most of my xbox games are burned by myself from a dvd-r. Will these still work for the 360. Do i need a mod chip , or somethin ? Thank you

I pretty sure that you can, but you need to have the certain Firmware that allows you to play Burned Xbox games. It's not one of the iXtreme's though...

Hmm I would like to know more info to beacuse I wanted to play GTA on my 360 but i didnt know how to burn the iso to be able to

yes,
the backups made for your original xbox will not work on the 360 they have to be ripped a certain way specifically for the 360.
