I just finished attaching the BIOS wires. I installed the ground and power wires for a test and it turned on fine.

But there is no audio I reset held the square button and got the dms is disabled message and after I reset the audio came back but when I reset again to test other things and disabled it again the audio did not come back and it has not since.

Also it cannot play games either it starts to play and then goes to the memory card viewing screen. This is with an original.

On a seemingly random note the spinning lights on the main menu don?t spin they just sit there.

Also I moved a few tabs on the metal heat sink on the ps2 normally they make contact on the board on a yellow part here in a picture of the tabs I mean:

They were touching the mod chip so I bent them upward so they did not make contact any more.

So if anyone can tell me what might be wrong I would be very appreciative.

Also if anyone could tell me if they know the way to go about removing and replacing the little yellow thing on this console you get power from mine is very jiggly and causes power to be interrupted whenever moves I if anyone knows how to fix the please let me know.
