I have just finished successfully completing a copy of my purchased DVD movie, however when I attempted to make another copy. I am using DVD shrink and Dvd FAB PLATINUM. It copies to the hard drive just fine, but when it attempts to burn the copy this is what appears.. do you have any idea what is going on..Task_2 failed! Error=116, Process failed. any help would be appreciated.
Did I provide enough info?

have you just tryed a disc copier like nero, imgburn, dvd decrypter, roxio etc. ? that should do it fine as long as your using quality blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning at 4x to 8x max

A little more info may prove helpful here.

What was the title you're trying to back up?

Successfully made backups before using this process?

Blank media type/format? (as Zoso suggested)

What is the speed at which you're trying to burn?

I have some Imation DVD blanks I was given, DVD -R 16x. I was copying No Country for old Men. Like I said it copied fine the first time, but I could not get it to copy a second time??? I use DVDFab Platinum along with Nero Or DVD Shrink 3.2,
I use NEC as my primary DVD and copy to a Sony DvD, I did find a bit of a problem,, not sure if it is related, the Sony is 4x record, and the NEC DVD drive is 16x dual, I was using the NEC as the primary and Sony as the record drive,, I am going to start using the NEC to record. so far thanks for help, and I will let you know if it makes a difference..
