Wii D2C Chip - Simple Solutions??

I have recently taken on the task of modding some of my friends and family members Wii's for them (Because of a successful Mod of my own console)

However I have only come across one D2C unit and due to the complexity of all the D2CKey and Argon chip installations diagrams I have seen (not really complexity more like skilled soldering required) due to my lack of soldering skill I refuse to attempt it, especially on someone else's Wii.

But... in my research (Google) I have found what seem to be the D2C owners dream, 2 that's right 2 alternatives to the frustrating endeavors pushed upon us as modders.

My only concern is that I am not familiar with either of the sites advertising these solutions... I have included the links in this post and was wondering if anyone out there has dealt with and/or had any success with these two products, or are they too good to be true!!

Please let me know of any success stories (especially NTSC-U console mods)

These have been talked about for the last couple of weeks - I posted about the wii clip here actually.

They are relatively new so there won't be many ppl who've had a bash. The wii clip can be bought separately and I reckoned a pre-soldered clip & chip would be up for sale soon enough ... and here it is.

There is no reason to suggest the clip won't work though nobody has posted how secure it is as far as being held on - in theory they should work though. The price for D2Pro pre soldered to clip looks ok from that site as well - imo.

Ppl are waiting for Wasabi reviews as it's new.
