Is there a difference between psp-1000 and psp-1001?
Cause I was gonna get some faceplates from my cousin and she asked me what ver is my psp cause there's a lot there so I said mines psp1000 . But my friend also wanted a set and his is psp-1001 is there a difference?
will the faceplate work for his?

there no difference as long as it is psp-100x then it will always have the same faceplate. i have a psp-1003 and iv got a custom faceplate for a fat psp didnt say anything about modal number so i guess there all the same

its when it is psp-200x then you will have to get a different faceplate because this is the slim modal

o And heres another question when taking that piece of rubber thingy from the memory card cover do I need the pins? or can just break it and take the rubber out.

is this a full faceplate and backplate fix or just the faceplate

if its just the faceplate then you dont need to do anything with that.

if it is the full case then you need to cut the plastic bits off. there like melted to stop it from it comming off so you need to cut the melted bit off. then get the new one and slid the holes into the correct bit and then it sorta stays there.

i know iv done a full case mod so thats what i had to do

theres a pic of my full modded psp case if you click on my sig to give you an example of a full mod

yer. you still need the rubber bit because that clips back onto the new cover
