PSP LAG HELP!!!

Hi, Im new to this so please bare with me. My cousin brought his psp to china and got it modded there. Not sure what the heck they did to it. But anyways, it starts to lag. At first i thought it was a software problem. It was running on 3.52 m33-4. So I updated it now to 3.71 M33 but it still gives me this problem. It runs really normal when first turned on then after several seconds, it will sort of flash and start lagging. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Bad rips. You should of did the updates yourself. Yes my one was modded in China too and i got it from there. But after a few things I got it working.
So a few things you might like to add/change.
-ISO speed: 333
-3.80 CFW+ a fatsmod patch
-Redownload game

He was there and decided to get it modded. I did do the update myself afterwards. How do I go about doing the things you've just told me?

right because your on 3.71m33 you can press select and it will open up the vhs menu go to xmb cpu speed and change it to 333 and then go to iso/UMD cpu and change that to 333. if this is running a iso then change the no-UMD to m33 or the sony one there both good.

if this is a cso then uncompress it and try that.

apart from that theres not much more i can think of that you can do.

it works!!!!!!!!!!..an easier method is to enter recovery mode and then change CPU speed...
