I need help. For some reason I can't get my vista computer to detect X360USB 360 Drive I've tried several reboots but it's still not detecting anything.

OK my drive is DEAD I just ordered the same drive from ebay anybody know how to replace it. I heard I only need to switch the board that's in my old drive to my new drive is that true.

Have you had any luck yet? If the board is bad, swapping it into the new drive won't help.

Well the drive I bought on ebay was dead i'm waiting to get it back from my installer so I can send it back to the seller.But I bought another drive from foundmy.com and thats working perfect but as soon as I get my other drive back i'll save it for a spare.
