Gday all, I'm just another teen trying to burn a lot of stuff onto normal cd's. Ill get straight to the point.
I have downloaded the latest version of Nero (6.3.0.2) TWICE and I keep having the same problem, I suspect its something to do with the age of the burner or the actual files itself (burner = Diamond Data 32X10X4..I know..its OLD).
I will go to burn a CD and it will come up with this error (in pic), and out of sheer frustration try and burn them again exactly the same way and it will WORK! *Glares at burner with evil intent*
also - the error log is as follows

Might also want to give ASPI 4.60(1021) a shot too. :-) It seems to have a better compatibility base than 4.71 but thats just my experience.

Firmware is a mini-bios for your drives. You update your firmware to improve performance/reliability/compatibility etc. Have a look at http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php
