Hi all, hope everyone had a good new year!

Basically my mother signed up to the site thinking
she would be able to download movies instantly and i have spent quite awhile trying to understand it.to which i have no clue.When it comes to file sharing my knowledge only goes as far as getting kazaa opening it and searching then downloading thats it.now it seems i have come across a whole new world (IRC) me thinking it was just one big chat room as it says like using a CB radio only CB internet but on downloading of mIRC when i opened it its one of the most mind boggling things ive ever seen my knowledge is so patchy i only picked up on very thew things so instead of me babbling on could someone please inform me of thew things

1:What is gettingmovies.com?

2.In laymens terms what is mIRC(IRC) and how do you use it

sorry for such silly questions but im so lost any other info would be much appreciated as i basically dont have a clue about any of it thanks G-4CE

I am going to assume you are using windows, because you said you were using kazaa (choke) as for irc help here is a link http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/mirc/ that should help (ALso try google search.) irc is not hard to use, you just have to read into it a little bit, this option is not for everyone, due to security risks, so if you have a lot of personal information sitting on your hard drive I would suggest sticking to p2p. As far as gettingmovies.com, it might as well be called buyingmovies.com. I personally don't trust pay sites, if anything you would probably have a lot more success using newsgroups, if you really want to pay for it he he. do a google for "best newsgroups" or "newsgroups help"

thanks for the info its a shame my mother already signed up cuz its completely useless to both of us it seems more of a guide on how to get movies than a movie download centre cuz it goes on about p2p programs such as kazaa and talks about IRC and how to get and use mIRC which i have no clue about oh well lesson has been learnt
