SSBB and the whole lens being durty crap

Could someone please tell me why nintendo is saying that it is because of the lens being dirty? I am just asking becuase I took apart one of my Wiis to clean the lens because SSBB would not load all the way and after making sure the lens was sparkling clean it still did not read the SSBB disc. I tried it in my other Wii and it ran fine. Tell me how that makes any sense. If the lens was simply dirty then it should have ran. The game will load all the way up to where it says loading in the bottom right hand corner and then it will give me the DRE. I though maybe there was a pot that I could adjust but I did not see one. Does anyone have any idea to why SSBB is getting the DRE's?
