If the warranty sticker is still intact call 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

If not, an xclamp replacement, AS5 thermal paste and a few pennies are next.

Let me know and I can provide you with some links if the latter procedure needs to be done.

Edit: this is assuming of course that you have the 3 rings of death and not a bad flash.

Some 1 red light errors are just preludes to the 3 ring of death and can be fixed the same way.

I had the ring of death and hit walmart for a new 360, opened it up and swapped covers and took back the bad one.

I was not going to wait 3-4 weeks for M$ft to send me a repaired one.

I think im gona sit down and look up every single thread that says I have RROD what do I do this month. Just so people can really see the amount of times it has been posted and maybe consider useing the search bar
