I've tried nero, easy cd creator, ashampoo burning studio7, magic iso, power iso, and cannot get this to work. I have a program called instantcake that you download from the manufacturers website as an iso file. you're supposed to burn this file as a bootable cd and use it to install files onto your hard drive in dos mode. I've done this about a year ago and can't for the life of me figure out what i did. i've got about 20 coasters sitting here that won't boot up correctly, just a blank cursor. the old version of instant cake i have works fine.
are there some settings i'm missing for burning this?
if anyone can help me out or point me to a step by step process for getting this done I'd really appreciate it!
just curious, were the setting i was doing in the other programs just not working or what? i mean, in nero is there a way to choose different settings that will let me perform this task in it? was i just choosing the wrong settings?
Nero and Roxio all have a bunch of settings for putting data on disc or DVD. But ever since imgburn came along thats all I use. I mean it's free, it's works and everyone should consider putting up a little donation to the guy !!
