is it possible? Lets say i install fedora or yellow dog linux,can i then use mac os x on the ps3? They both use the same kernals, unix and linux are both almost the same? I really want to know because this will help determine whetehr i buy a ps3.

It might be possible, but there is no Mac OS X bootloader for PS3. But PPC Mac OS X Leopard on PS3 is very possible.

I think that's an emulator, not the real OS.

ok but how about the option on the ps3 to choose which os to install, and even then emulating os x on linux is still a step in that direction

The bootloader does a MD5 check, so you cant choose which OS.

But emus are WIPs.
