I have a PS2 slim and have 2 USB connectors.
I want to know if you put your IDE HDD inside a USB case and then
connect the USB case to the PS2 at the usb ports, will it work.
I know I will have to use hdloader but not sure how to do so.
Please suggest how to add an HDD to the PS2 slim.
I do not want to use the dvd drive of my ps2!!!
I hope you guys help me out!!
thanks...
Thanks for the reply,
I'm actually confused with the ps2 version.
As, my PS2 version as shown on the back of the PS2 console is
.....SCPH - 90006
But on the BOX it is SCPH 77004 cb
So I guess the console one is right....??
So what is your opinion, can I get the usb HDD connected to the PS2 ad load games from it???
Thanks for your opinion, but when you say bigger HDD's, are you referring to the size in GB of the hdd?
How will that matter.
I have read that when making the ISO's of the games to put them on the PS2 you can patch them, then copy them over to the HDD.
Then using HDloader you can load the games and play them :?
No, I mean the Actual HDDs. You know, IDE ones. Since you have a slim PSTwo you can't install one (unless you have an older slim PSTwo). Don't try USB HDDs they suck.
