i hardly played on the ps2 console but when i connected the power adapeter today the ps2 dosent show any light to switch even when i press power no difference the adapted and power cable are connected could anyone tell me what the problem could be?

Troubleshoot, Maany!

Do you have power to the outlet you are using?
Do you have power in your house?
Have you recently dropped or spilled on your device?
Do you still have the receipt? You might be able to exchange it for one that works.
Or just get a new power cord.
