Six new DivX Certified Blu-ray players

article published on 17 March, 2008

I wonder what web site DivX is recommending for downloads? Since they blew up Stage6. They had the best(quality) site out there for DivX. Now it's seek and ye shall find. As far as my family is concerned DivX can blow Blu-Ray out their Blu-Ray behinds. $349/$2000 what a spread. I hope for $2000. that it at least makes coffee and the bed.

This is great news, since the Toshiba HD-DVD players weren't Divx certified, that's what kept me from jumping the gun and getting one... good thing I waited! Anyhow, this is good news, just wish the price would go down or that upconvert DVD players, like the one I have now, would support HD content. Come to think of it, they don't come out and say that these BD player do, but I would assume they would since the 360 and PS3 both do.

I could not imagine a Sony product playing DIVX content, glad they realize their mistake, im wondering now ...does the ps3 play divx files only from discs or also from the media cards readers and from the usb ports. Nice to know though :P
