Hi,
I'm trying to open an .mkv file in VirtualDubMod to convert it to avi for use on the xbox360.
It pops up a windows saying parsing matroska file but does not stop when the progress bar is full. I left it for 3 hours before aborting. This is not mentioned in any tutorials how can I bypass/stop this? The file is 4.37GB.

virtualdubmod hasn't been updated in years and it's MKV support
is basic at best. One thing you could do would be to extract the data from the MKV and make an avi file. Then do what you want to do in the
latest release of virtualdub.
