Hello,
I am using wii, pal, 3.1, wiikey.
No more heroes just showing a blank screen after i click start.
Nothing is happening, and i have to reset my Wii.
I read, someone else had a similar problem...is there a solution?
Thanks!
:-)

Not enough info tbh.
Media? Speed? Burning Program?
Recommended - Verbatim DVD-R @4x using imgburn.
Update Wii to 3.2 online as well and ensure wiikey is at 1.9g

I purchased the game (but i don't think it's original), so i don't know
the media/speed/burning application but i am assuming it's all good.
I will try to update to 3.2, does anyone know if 3.2 is a requirement?
1.9g does not run on my wii, i am getting the check your connections error and as far as i know there is no salutation yet.

I had the same problem exactly. I burned it with the same media I have burned everything else with so that isn't the problem. I don't know. I tried using brickblocker and regionfrii just incase. I am really stuck on this one. Any help from anyone that knows what it generally means when the disc shows on the channel but gives a black screen and freezes after you open it would be appreciated.

The only other option would be to try and copy the image using imgburn (only if it's a backup and not original). Then try burning it onto another disk. Verbatim DVD-R is what I always recommend (you can try others as well but you might just be wasting time and money).
Any more problems - throw it away ;)

Yeah that's why I said use imgburn cos if it's not original then it should copy the disk to image. ;)
If it can't then it's prolly duff anyway.

Ok....i found a solution !
I used: ppf-o-matic3 with nmh-patch.ppf, to patch the ISO.
Working perfectly....I don't remember where i got the files from
but if anyone is interested , feel free to PM me.

very interested in that. I have the iso and have burned it like 10 times with no success. I have used 5 different medias that have all worked with other iso's and no luck with no more heroes. It has to be the iso. Where can I get that patch???

bar1 - That must be the NTSC version you have then cos the PAL version works fine here - no patching.
Also emails should be sent via PM. Don't post it in this thread. Just in case you didn't know it's against the rules.

You probably have the NTSC version of the game. It's exactly like Trauma Centre New Blood in that it doesn't work on PAL Wiis, even with a Wiikey. Apparently from what I've heard however is that if you use a freeloader it works fine.

Morning everyone.
I got no more heroes to work 100%.
NTSC version on my pal Wii.
I don't have the link at the moment, so either google:
ppf-o-matic3 and nmh-patch.ppf OR send me a PM and i'll email you the files!

well see thats the thing. I have a ntsc-u wii and the backup is ntsc-u, when I put the game in you can see it in the channel but when I click on it I just get the black screen and I have to turn off my wii manually.

My instinct would be to say that it's not the NTSC version you have but the PAL - or perhaps an NTSC that has been patched to PAL.

so then if I use that patch it will let me play it on my ntsc console or is the patch only for ntsc to pal?

If you have a USA Wii and are trying to run the USA NMH then no patching should be required. It would only require it if the game was from a different region.
http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/W...y_List:_NTSC-US
Looking at the compatability list there is no listing for PAL to NTSC-U and that doesn't surprise me. Seeing as the USA NTSC version has been out for longer than the PAL version it makes no sense to grab the PAL version so I doubt there'd be many if any wanting to play a patched PAL version rather than the NTSC-U version. I think you've possibly got NMH NTSC-U patched to PAL and that is causing the problem. I could be wrong but if it's a bona fide NTSC-U all the patching, blocking etc is absolutely unnecessary for you.
Also if you ran it through Brick Blocker it would tell you the region etc. anyway.
