Memory Stick Corrupted, Please Help!

I use a 2G memory stick for my Sony CyberShot Camera and my PSP. I was deleting some psp files i didnt want off my memory stick, along with some images from my camera. Now when I take pictures it doesnt show up on my camera.

I connected it to a computer and opened the DCIM folder and it gives me a list of folders and files with weird signs in the name.

Any help please?

this happened to me too. i copied all folders besides the funny looking ones onto my desktop, then formated the memory stick through the computer, and placed the folders back into my memory stick.

try formating the memory stick from either the camera or the psp. Both of these devices set up the card in a different way so i would recommend that u use the card for only one. BTW nvr format with computer.

I will give you the best method...
1: Format the MemStick on you psp.

2: Plug (MemStick) into your PC and copy EVERY SINGLE FILE! make sure they are all copied!!

3: Now format (MemStick) with your Sony Cyber Shot

4: Once formatted with Sony cyber shot... COPY ALL THE PSP FILES YOU SAVED BACK TO THE MemStick!!!

5: VOILA!

now you will be able to run both items on one MemStick
