CRYSTAL CC1.1 V18 not working R34

I just installed a Crystal Chip 1.1 in a brand new PS2 silver 79001 ......GH-062 board ... only firmware that will work is R19 anything over that theres major problems...boot manager will not load on boot up ...red screen on boot up ...system freezes...have to un plug the power ...the chip is intalled properly ..the led flashes once on boot up ..anyone have same problems..this is a firmware problem for sure...cant get an answer from anyone..like Crystal Chip would ever respond to emails...!! any modders have same issues?
