Hi, I have a problem. I'm using a Wireless G Router Linksys Production name: WRT54G. I'm sure a lot of people here, using the Wii, are having a problem with Lag playing it Online with smash bros. I've seen guides on how to fix it like this one (http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=928518&topic=41913059)

Now, I get lost when it says, in the FAQ to go to your settings,
I get to the settings and then the FAQ says to go to ADVANCED -> FORWARDING. But I can't seem to find ADVANCED.

I read the rest of the guide and I don't understand a lot of it, but I really wanna fix my lag, can anyone guide me through this? Damn, I feel like a noob on this, but all the guides I find on this topic, don't explain it very well.

Can someone please give me a detailed explanation on how to fix this problem with Lag on Smash Bros. Thank you very much for all your help.

mods will close this, since it belongs in the brawl thread.

most likely, you will have to update the firmware, but even official linksys firmware is very restrictive. third party firmware (like dd-wrt) gives you more options, but should only be installed if you know what you're doing (permanent damage to the router can be done, if flashed improperly).
