I have the log from a failed attempt at converting avi to mpeg4 using my new Nero7. I think the appropriate place for posting my question, and the log, is on the Nero forum, but I got in a heap of trouble once (somewhere else)for posting a log with serials. Unfortunately, the responders just screeched at me, and never told me exactly where to look for the numbers I need to remove before posting. I've looked through the guides for a sample log, but can't seem to find what it is I need to remove. Is there an example somewhere that I haven't found? Or could someone show me what to erase before posting?
We won't shout at anyone here re posting their own serial numbers in logfiles, but we prefer them removed as it's your serial number, you don't want some thieving oik pinching it :)
In Nerovision's logfile, the serial number is just above these lines -
"NeroVision Windows XP 5.1
NeroVision IA32
NeroVision WinAspi: -
NeroVision NT-SPTI used"
Just in case you ever use Nero Burning Rom the serial number's in roughly the same place)
i'll close this now and if you post in that other link someone will be able to sift thru your logfile..
