Why are so many people against the wasabi ? Is it because its new and no body has posted any reviews on it yet or is it because of no track record for the programmers?

For me it's a tossup between D2Pro and WASABI - I would say the team that put D2Pro together are good and respected with lots of experience but the WASABI is a little more interesting with it's compatability with other Wiis - maybe that's nothing important but I think it might well prove popular with earlier chipset owners and that might be a factor in a bigger user base overall - chips that are popular tend to have more info and discussion/support from users which is a positive. I think the D2Pro might suffer against the WASABI.

I don't see anyone against the WASABI - I'm certainly not. I'd bet it's better than my wiikey but that doesn't mean to say there are not better chips than WASABI.

The Infectus team have a strong record and have the most innovative product which does seem to be stable, flexible and future proof.

I have a feeling D2Pro will be releasing a 9 wire instillation and implement DVD upgrade as Infectus team is doing.

So I would rather have both the option of DVD upgrade and the option of Jtag programmer in case it is needed to over come future Wii updates.
