just p ex a few ps3 games for a few ps2 .put turismo 3 in ps3 ,all was good .also got ps2 format , crash twinsanity and sonic mega collection.said something about dualshock controller in port 1 .can some games not be played on ps3.pissed off.will be returning tomorrow if not possible
having been surfing .do i have to have the controller plugged in via usb ?

No you do not always have to have the wireless controller plugged in constantly, I have noticed that on quite a few PS2 games, that it does state that it does not have the controller plugged in, that is when I am playing the PS2 game on my PS3, but it does disappear from the screen and I can carry on as bormal because of the PS3s great backward compatible features.
So try and try, but do not take your games back??? it should be fine.
