After downgrade, my PSP won't let me upgrade, help please

I downgraded my PSP using lumines, but now I want to upgrade it again. I tried to do the official update, but it won't let me because the downgrade patched my IDkeys. Right now I'm at 2.81. I'm trying to either

A) downgrade to 1.5 so I can run a key cleaner and fix the IDkeys and upgrade to the official version, or

B) downgrade to 1.5 so I can run custom firmware and get up to 2.73

I've got my copy of lumines, but I can't upgrade to 3.5 because remember, the official firmware no longer responds to my PSP. Given my current situation, how do I go about doing either of these things? Or is there some other solution I haven't thought of for upgrading? Help is very much appreciated.
