Recently I saw someone on youtube have their ps3 open in order to switch the disc and play a backed-up ps2 game.

My back up of Crash Nitro cart is my only working copy left and when I play it on my ps2 it freezes and loads slowly so I figured I'd try to run it on the ps3.

I foolishly did most of the unveiling myself and I did get the drive open so the disc can be seen as it spins and I have successfully played nitro kart with much better load times and no freezes.

Sorry I took so long getting to this, but my problem is that, doing the disc swapping as I have, the spinning parts that get the disc in and out of the ps3 have started screwing up.

I could get some pictures of my problem if requested but I guess what I need to know is can anyone help me get the 2 sets of spinners (don't know what to call them) to be completely symmetrical again? the reason I need to know this is because it seems when the disc is going in the right side is not as close as the left and therefore the disc is just spun in a circle and goes over the motor just to the right.

It might help to know I found a spring lying around inside not attached to anything. . . its a very small spring.

click here I just put this video up on youtube so that you guys would be more able to help me. thanks for any help. maybe to help; someone who has taken theirs apart before can take it apart again and compare the parts i show to see if theres something wrong with mine? I know I'm asking for a lot but if you've got the time please assist.
