Hoping someone can help me out here, mabye point out something i'm doing wrong. I'll start by breaking down the specs.

I've had the Wii for a while, and I just installed a Wiikey chip using the dremel method. All solder points are good, I am an experienced solderer, verified with multimeter just to be sure.
Wii will now not recognize Wii originals/backups, Gamecube originals/backups. It will however recognize Wiikey config. 1.2, and hacked 1.3 (both as GC discs), but I get the black screen with white writing when I select start using these discs. I burned these discs on Memorex dvd-r, using ImgBurn at 4x. I filechopped both .iso's.
I would open it up again and confirm all the surface mount soldering on the chip hasn't got bridges between legs or dry joints.
By using a multimeter to confirm continuity, sometimes pressing onto the point completes the connection and then lifting the probe takes it away. Common with dry joints. Check with a magnifying glass.
If it played the originals before the mod, it MUST be something you have done.
