Adding Mp3-music to menu in TMPGEncDVDAuthor 3

I've put some Mp3-files as background music to my menu in TMPGEncDVDAuthor 3. When I simulate the menu the audiogain is almost the same level as the in the video.
But when I burn it to DVD the music in the menu is way too loud!!!
I understand that I need to encode the mp3:s somehow but I'm quite new to this encoding stuff and would appreciate some ideas.
The programs I've been using is Adobe Premiere Pro 7, TMPGEnc 4 and TMPGEncDVDAuthor 3
